Paint with real materials.

FUSION: CANVAS / DRAW · PAINT · CARVE · ANIMATE Thick acrylic that keeps every bristle mark. Pigments that mix the way paint does. Glass that bends the light behind it. In FUSION: Canvas every stroke is a material, on paper, wood, metal or glass, and even on a 3D object.

Paint, not pixels.

ONE BRUSH. MANY MATERIALS. A brush controls how you paint. A material controls what you paint with. Keep your favourite brush and switch from thick acrylic to polished gold or clear, luminous glass, and watch them mix, catch the light and leave real texture.

Paint that behaves like paint.

PIGMENTS / WET PAINT / BRUSHES / DRY BRUSH / METALS Colours mix the way real pigments do, so ultramarine and cadmium yellow make green, not grey. Paint into wet paint and the colours blend and drag along with the brush. Dry the painting whenever you are ready to work on top.

Pigments that mix

01 / COLOURMix titanium white, ultramarine, cadmium yellow and more as real pigments with real hiding power. A touch of white lifts a colour the way it does on your palette.

Wet into wet

02 / BLENDThe brush picks colour up and drags it along in streaks that follow its bristles. Wet paint has a sheen until you dry it.

Brushes you can feel

03 / TEXTUREFlat, round, filbert, rake, detail and dry brushes, each tunable from fine to coarse and soft to stiff. Dry brushes skip across the paper; splatter flicks droplets.
Ultramarine mixed into cadmium yellow passing through greens and into titanium white turning sky blue, each above a flat colour blend that turns grey.

Blue strokes dragged through wet yellow turning green, the same stroke over dried yellow staying blue, and white dragged through wet blue.
Blue dragged through wet yellow (top), through dried yellow (middle), and white dragged through wet ultramarine (bottom).

Render it for real.

FINAL RENDER While you paint, Canvas shows a fast, lit preview. When the piece is ready, press Render: light is traced through every bead of glass and gathers where the glass focuses it, shadows soften, highlights glow, and the picture is rendered at high resolution and smoothed. Painted objects render as studio shots.
Final render of the painting: coral and teal acrylic with gold strokes and droplets on textured paper, and a thick loop of clear liquid glass that magnifies the paint beneath it and casts a soft shadow.

Anything can be a canvas.

SURFACES / CARVING / STAINED GLASS / 3D OBJECTS Paint on paper, primed canvas, a wood panel, polished copper, brass, steel or aluminium, white plastic or glass. Carve into the surface. Light a stained-glass window from behind. Wrap your painting around a vase, or load your own 3D object and paint right on it.

Carve, engrave and etch

Choose a V-bit, round-nose or flat bit. Routed wood shows fresh fibres, engraved metal shines, etched metal goes matte, and glass and plastic frost. Scratch through paint for sgraffito.

Stained glass

Ruby, cobalt, emerald, amber, gold and violet glass glow with daylight from behind, lighter where the sheet is thin and deeper where it is thick, with lead came between the pieces, painted line work, and hammered, seedy, rippled, reeded and streaky textures that bend the view.

Objects as canvases

Paint vases, bottles, spheres, cylinders and boxes, turning them as you work. Load your own 3D objects and every brush, material and carving tool works on them too.

Make the material part of the motion.

FRAME BY FRAME / KEYFRAMES / MATERIAL ANIMATION Draw a new frame or animate what is already there. Let gold emerge through a surface. Change a glass stroke's thickness or transparency over time. Bring a still composition to life with an artist-friendly timeline.

Every stroke stays editable

Change a material after the paint is down, adjust thickness, rotate the grain or move a stroke. Shared materials update everywhere they are used.

Keyframe the surface

Animate material blends, opacity, texture and paint height. Surface changes remain editable alongside the original artwork.

ON THE HORIZON We are building toward a studio where anything can be painted, printed and shared: printmaking from carved plates, patina and ageing on the timeline, scripting and AI with Solerra, materials and painted objects for the FUSION 3D Editor and FUSION: Interact, physical brush and pen tools, and carvings sent to routers and lasers.
